
Dr. Camp received his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and his medical degree from the University of Vermont, College of Medicine. He is board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. He obtained his General Surgical and Cardiothoracic education at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and while there, completed a research fellowship in cardiovascular physiology. Dr. Camp joined the division in 2004 when he assumed a leadership role as director of the Lung Transplant Program. He is an Instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Camp's principal area of interest is lung transplantation. He was recently recognized as a "Regional Champion" by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for his efforts to increase the lung recovery rate in the Northeast.
