
Dr. Ducko received his undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College (B.A., 1991) and his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. After completing both a clinical and research fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Hershey Medical Center, Dr. Ducko came to Brigham and Women's Hospital to further his thoracic surgical education. He joined the division in 2006, after completing a thoracic fellowship (2004-2005) and is an Instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ducko's clinical interests include lung cancer, benign and malignant esophageal disease, diaphragmatic pacing, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and mesothelioma.
